Route 219 North,
Lewisburg, West Virginia 24901
The Lewisburg Elks Country Club, located ½ mile north of Interstate 64 on US Route 219, is enjoyed by everyone who plays here. Enjoy the eighteen distinctive and unique holes that meander over rolling countryside, or relax on the porch of our Clubhouse, Lodge and Restaurant, a majestic building that is reminiscent of the facility at The Masters.
The course dates back to the 1930's when the first nine holes were constructed (presently the back nine). The second nine holes were added in the1960's. The front nine is shorter than the back, but its fairways are narrower. Water comes into play on five holes over the course. The greens are small but undulating. The course is short by modern standards but it is deceptively tough. The course was originally called the Greenbrier Valley Country Club until its purchase by the BPOE and was then renamed in 1985 .
