It's often said that great destruction brings renewal and revitalization. The 2013 season will by my 17th year of owning and operating the White River Golf Club, and I look forward to offering my patrons a vastly improved 9 hole course!

The rebuilding brought about by Irene has been completed. With the installation of a few tees and some irrigation modifications, the 2013 course will be substantially more challenging than the one that existed prior to that epic flood. Although the challenge may be greater, the new re-design will offer 4 sets of tees for each hole, thereby allowing players of different expertise the opportunity to fully enjoy their game!

Much work has been done since the flood on August 28th, 2011. Countless volunteers from all over the State and especially right here in the valley communities, were pivotal in getting the course back to where it is today. Special thanks must go out to my members, league players, and so many other familiar faces that play golf at WRGC. Without everyone's support there may not have been a golf course in Rochester, Vt.
