There is a hidden treasure in Louisa, Virginia. Welcome to The Greens at Tanyard, an 18-hole golf facility located in Central Virginia, midway between Richmond, Charlottesville and Fredericksburg. This top-tier golf course has earned its reputation as a people and player friendly course. The Greens at Tanyard is a semi-private facility. Public play is also welcomed seven days a week. Guests will rave about our unpretentious membership.

The Greens at Tanyard was originally developed from a large dairy farm, and players can still see the original manor house and silos. In 1983, it started life as the Louisa Country Club, located in the heart of Louisa. Drawn inside one of the silos is a huge, unique cosmic sundial created by a notable local scientist. In 1996, the members bought the club began to add major improvements. Famed golf course architect Tom Clark redesigned the course, and the club added a tennis complex with lighting and a pool.
