Colonial Hills is a professional length golf course nestled in the foothills south of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Golfers will enjoy the breathtaking views of the Peaks of Otter and the Blue Ridge. The club house gives a stunning panorama of the surrounding area of Forest, VA where President Thomas Jefferson choose to build his vacation home.
The eighteen-hole regulation length course featuring 6318 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The course rating is 70 and it has a slope rating of 121. Many holes are quite challenging and interesting, but overall it can be somewhat forgiving. Colonial Hills golf course opened in 1962.
