Pine Forest is a classic parkland course that sits on a beautiful piece of property uncluttered by any housing development. The course is challenging for the skilled player, yet very playable for the higher handicapper. With 27 holes there’s rarely a problem in getting a convenient tee time and it’s perhaps the easiest course to walk in all of Houston. The course has recently been enhanced with the addition of several new tee boxes to increase the length of several holes while also adding a number of Tee It Up boxes to shorten many holes for youth golfers and shorter hitters. The course-wide conversion to Champion Bermuda is intended to return the club to the Best Greens in Houston ranking enjoyed for many years. Pine Forest is a driver/second shot course featuring rough cut at 1½ inches, narrow but not long, with keeping the ball in play the key to a good round.
