Milan Golf and Country Club opened in 1957 as a nine hole course.
The original nine hole course was designed by George Curtis Club Professional at Jackson Golf and Country Club. He described the property as
“one of the best natural layouts, I’ve ever seen”.
The Club grew as the game flourished in the 50’s and 60’s, with the indomitable personalities of the day. Names like Palmer, Nichlas, Trevino and Snead.
Later in 1977 nine additional holes were added to create the present day 18 hole regulation golf course.
In 2010 the greens were changed to Mini Tiff Eagle and the sand traps were rebuilt, with light sand. Milan Golf & Country CLub continues to make improvement to support the game and the members.
