About Alcester Municipal Golf Course:
The Alcester Golf Club began operations in 1962 when a few of the area boy's decided that they wanted a golf course closer to town. As with most small courses, it began with sand greens. Until late 2011, the course had been member owned. The City of Alcester took over ownership of the course late in 2011 and is excited about the opportunity the course has to offer the area.
