375 Mount Vintage Plantation Dr,
North Augusta, South Carolina 29860-8365
Opened in 2000, the Vintage nine was back nine of our original 18 holes. Now it plays as the longest of our three nines. Elevation change comes in to play most dramatically on Vintage. On 8 out of the 9 holes there is a downhill or uphill shot of at least 30 feet. This makes the golfer think just a little bit more on each shot. Vintage could be argued as the most breathtaking of the three nines at Mount Vintage.
From 2000 to 2004 the Vintage nine played as the back nine for the LPGA Asahi Ryokuken International Championship. Since 2010 it has also played as the back nine for the NGA Tour Kandy Waters Memorial Classic. Vintage has been part of accolades such as “Top 30 Courses you can play in South Carolina” in 2008 and 2010 by the South Carolina Golf Course Rating Panel as well as “Number One Course in the Midlands Region for South Carolina” in 2009 and 2011.
The Pavilion Lake area on Vintage is the signature of Mount Vintage Plantation. Holes 5, 6, and 7, a par 4, par 3, and par 5, all surround Pavilion Lake. With challenging shots and dramatic views the Pavilion Lake area has been called the “Amen Corner” of Mount Vintage. Golfers coming off the Vintage nine will leave with a feeling of awe and respect for the nine holes of golf they just played.
