The 18-hole Cliffs At Glassy Golf & Country Club in Landrum, SC is a private golf course that opened in 1993. Designed by Tom Jackson, Cliffs At Glassy Golf & Country Club measures 6805 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 148 and a 73.1 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels. Greens and fairways are bent grass.
The Cliffs’ very first course, and South Carolina’s only mountaintop golf course, is found atop Glassy Mountain, which you can see long before you enter its gates. Sitting 3,000 feet above sea level, Tom Jackson’s design provides a championship golf experience with 50-mile views and bentgrass from tee to green.

According to Golf Digest, only Cypress Point, Pebble Beach and Augusta National rank above The Cliffs at Glassy when it comes to scenery. And when you drop your tee into the ground at the par-3 13th hole and look out to 50-mile views of the land below, you can see why.
