When Arnold Palmer designed the course layout for The Mill, he took advantage of it being located in the foothills of South Carolina. With its changing elevations found throughout the 6,940 yard, Par 72 terrain, The Mill has a unique layout, with each hole providing a different and memorable experience. Fortunately, Palmer created a variety of tees, so there is a place for every level golfer to enjoy this unique golf experience. And, the condition of the course is as remarkable as the design, with carpet-like fairways and infamous greens.

A River Runs Through It
The Enoree River comes into play on a number of holes. The river and other associated aspects of this wetlands habitat all add up to a unique golf experience. Most notably is the fact that there are NO homes on or even near the course. There is also no construction noise, no neighborhood or traffic sounds…it’s just birdies and birds living in harmony. Members often report seeing wild turkeys and deer on the course.
