Welcome to Sylvan Heights Golf Course, the number one option for a round of golf in New Castle, Pennsylvania. Our course combines the area's wonderful natural scenery with excellent course design and top-notch service. This course is operated by the city's Department of Parks and Recreation, and it is one of the oldest municipal public golf courses in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Over the years, we have hosted such as renowned golfers as Arnold Palmer, one of the world's most famous golfers. Palmer played in the West Penn Amateur at Sylvan Heights in 1948.
