Heron Lakes Golf Club offers the best combination of quality and variety of all Pacific Northwest golf courses. Located just minutes north of downtown Portland, OR Heron Lakes Golf Club features two championship courses: the Great Blue Course and the Greenback Course. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., each distinctive golf course offers players unique and thrilling challenges. The links-style Great Blue Course opened in 1992 and became an immediate favorite among low handicap golfers in the area. The Great Blue features small, undulating greens and rambling fairways that carve through fescue style grass and Scottish mounds. The parkland-style Greenback Course was opened in 1972 and has been a Portland favorite ever since. Its traditional design features large elevated greens, tree-lined fairways, six ponds and 86 bunkers. The 6,615 yard, par-72 layout is attractrive to beginner and seniors, offering a moderate challenge in a beautiful setting.

OUTINGS: When you host an event at Heron Lakes, you get much more than just the use of a golf course. Our dedicated Tournament Coordinator will assist you from start to finish. On the day of your event you will receive the full attention of the entire operations staff who will strive to make your event a success. We host hundreds of events every year, ranging from 16 player bachelor parties, to 40 player company outings, to 288 player fundraising tournaments and everything in between.
