In 1961 Arrowhead was originally built as a 9 hole golf course. In 1965 it became an 18 hole course.
In 1972 it was purchased by the Clarizio family. They had their own vision and in 1980 a plan was developed to form a Private Membership Club and build an Athletic Complex.
Their children, Rob Gibbons, Cheryl Weigel & JD Clarizio grew up helping their parents with the business. Rob began apprenticing his father at the age of 12 and now is the PGA Head Professional. Cheryl works as their CPA. While JD is the master greens keeper who keeps the course in excellent condition. Together Rob, Cheryl and JD carry on the family tradition.
Today the 126.9 acre Golf Course has an attractive setting with two of the holes situated adjacent to the Molalla River. Wrights Creek meanders through the course and comes into play on 4 holes on the front nine and 2 holes on the back.
