In 1970, designer Hal Purdy transformed acres of farmland between Canastota and Oneida and turned them into one of the area's premiere golf courses.
The Kanon Valley Country Club is a private, 72-par 18 hole golf course with four sets of tees, perfect for golfers of all skill and experience levels. Kanon Valley also features all the amenities associated with being one of the best golf courses in Central New York. On our grounds, you'll find a top-notch pro shop, an on-site restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, and expert lessons available from the course PGA Professional Trey Walewski and his staff, and most importantly a beautifully manicured 6780 yard golf course maintained by our Head Greens Superintendent Mark Rowles.
