About Alto Lakes Golf & Country Club:
Alto Lakes' front nine was built in 1966 when the club was founded and the back nine was completed a couple of years later. The front nine is a friendly nine, predominately up on the mesa. The back nine is more mountainous in terrain and is one of the toughest nine holes in the state. Alto's playing surfaces are Bent Grass on the greens, with Kentucky Bluegrass tees, fairways and rough.
