Andrew Kilpinen, the General Manager of the Greensboro National golfing facility announced that the real estate acquisition company, 7 CCC, LLC led a diverse group of investors to form a new company, Greensboro National Golf Club, LLC to purchase the 305 acre, 18 hole golf course and the remaining unsold residential lots in the surrounding subdivision for an undisclosed price today.

This group of investors includes the nationally recognized Teacher and PGA Professional Rick Murphy of the Rick Murphy Golf Academy, who is the 2013-2015 Incoming District 10 Director on the PGA of America National Board of Directors. In the weeks to come, Mr. Murphy will open a fully staffed teaching and learning facility at Greensboro National.

The course was built between 1994 and 1995, opening for play in late 1995 and has earned its reputation as a course that is a fair test of golf for players of any skill level. It became popular with Triad golfers for the beautiful setting and challenging layout. The course includes 18 holes, driving range, and full service bar and food service. .
