Nestled between the bustling city life of Charlotte and the serene mountains of Asheville in the heart of Shelby, North Carolina lies one of the area’s most historic country clubs. Established in 1927, Cleveland Country Club offers members and their guests a traditional private club experience with a unique blend of southern hospitality, charm, and genuine welcoming warmth. A $1.5 million renovation to the indoor and outdoor dining areas, golf course bunkers, and upgraded club amenities was completed in the Summer of 2020 creating an unmatched social experience.

Offering the ultimate golf experience in the area, Cleveland Country Club’s course provides a unique challenge to both the accomplished and novice golfer. The challenging Par 72, 18 Hole course, with newly renovated bunkers, was designed by John LaFoy, opened in 1927, and has been continually ranked as one of the best in the area. The course measured 6,443 yards from the blue tees, has a slope of 136, and a 71.8 USGSA course rating.
