About Gaston Country Club:

Gaston Country Club boasts a finely manicured Ellis Maples designed 18-hole golf course originally opened for play in 1958. By utilizing the natural lay of the land, the routing of the golf course is very golfer friendly. One can play championship style golf from the back tees all the way up to our junior tees appropriately placed in the fairway areas. The golf course underwent a restoration in 2003-2004 by architect Kris Spence and is ranked 43rd in North Carolina’s Top 100 Golf Courses. Gaston Country Club hosts many member tournaments and has been selected as the site for many outside events including the U.S. Open qualifiers, N.C. Womens Amateur, various CGA events and large group outings.
