Walnut Hills offers a grand golf course, originally conceived in 1928 by architect Joseph Roseman Sr., a noted Chicago architect. Mr. Roseman considered the land with a unique strategic design typical of the classic courses of the 1920s. Our course was well planned into the current environment and is just the right amount of challenge and reward. Through bunker renovation his work redefined the classic style of the course.
Devries has brought the course into the modern era in 2004 with a great level of attention to detail. His work redefined the classic style of the course through bunker renovation that defends the strategy. Mike has built his work on the masters of the past. Devries is a historian of designs and writings of architecture of the great courses of the world. If you haven’t played the great courses of the world, then you’ll just have to trust us.
