Cherokee Golf Course first opened for play in 1896. Cherokee is one of the oldest municipal golf courses in the United States. It's also the oldest public golf course in Louisville. With its hilly layout and lake holes its excellent place to improve your short-iron game.

This is a short course. Water comes into play on four holes. The course has several trees plus a lot of hills that can cause uneven lies. The fairways are wide open and tree lined. The greens are large and medium speed.
