The fairways are of quickstand Bermuda grass, greens are of Pencross bent grass,
a majority of the tees are zoysia grass with the roughs being a blend of rye and blue grasses. Water hazards can be found on 9 of the 18 holes. The fairways are relatively narrow and tree lined.
Clearcrest Pines is an Open to the Public, daily fee golf course. Open year round with the exception of Christmas Day and seasonal snow conditions. Other amenities include a putting green, pro shop, snack bar, shelter house and locker rooms.
