Green Acres Country Club was established in 1943 and incorporated on January 11, 1944, but the golf course dates to 1924, when legendary golf course designer A.W. Tillinghast lent his world-renown skills to developing what was then known as the Illinois Golf Club. Green Acres Country Club offers a number of other amenities to its members, including:
