North Shore Country Club is a family club, dedicated to enriching the lives of its members and their families by providing outstanding golf, dining, social and recreational activities. The club embraces their first-class championship golf course rich in history.
North Shore Country Club is recognized as one of the outstanding tests of golf in the mid western area and has played host to the the 1928 Western Open, 1933 US Open, and the 1939 and 1983 US Amateurs. In 2011, North Shore will host the WGA Western Amateur Championship.
Recently, NSCC completed a golf course improvement project. The national award-wining project focused on improving infrastructure and function while preserving the integrity of C. H. Alison's design elements.
North Shore Country Club is a fully certified Audobon Cooperative Sanctuary by Audobon International. This important recognition is a tribute to NSCC's commitment to the environment for both its members and local community. NSCC is recognized as important "open green space" on the Village of Glenview Ecological Assessment Technical Report.
