The Bloomington Country Club was founded in 1896 by a small group of golfers. The Club has grown into a multi-faceted organization offering golf, tennis, swimming, and dining to its members. Generations of friendships and family traditions are the foundation for the success of the 110+ year old Club.
Best described as a traditional-style golf course with rolling meadows, mature tree-lined fairways, creeks and ponds: BCC's 18-hold golf course provides as many challenges as the golfer desires. The many member tournaments, member-guest events, and ladies 9 and 18 hole groups, allow the beginner, as well as the "scratch" golfer ample opportunity to participate and compete on this challenging 6,561 yard, par 71 layout.
Bloomington Country Club's manicured golf course and attention to detail has been recognized through the years and rewarded with hosting seven Illinois Men's State Amateur Golf Championships, five Illinois Women's State Amateur Golf Championships and the 1980 Illinois Open during its history.
The Pro Shop carries a wide selection of clubs, bags, clothing, shoes and other accessories by Titliest, Callaway, Cleveland and Taylormade to name a few. Several demo days and club fitting days are scheduled in the spring each year.
