Priest Lake Golf Club is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Priest Lake, Idaho.
Priest Lake Golf Club opened as a 9-hole course in 1968. The course was expanded to 18-holes in 2003. During the 2006 golfing season, the front nine of Priest Lake Golf Course underwent a redesign, to match the beauty of the back nine. Priest Lake golf course was designed by Pat Prentice.
Priest Lake Golf Course is located in a valley with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. The fairways vary in width, and the medium-sized greens are fast. There is a natural stream that comes into play on several holes, and the terrain is rolling. The signature hole is #7, a 186-yard, par 3, which is nicknamed, "The Rock." because of a huge rock that must be carried off the tee.
The Course has been designed to provide a unique golfing experience for both the occasional weekend golfer as well as the most accomplished 'scratch golfer'. It's a par 72, 6,500 yard course that is beautifully laid out amidst mountains, forests and wetlands on the west side of Priest Lake, a short distance from most lodging and resort establishments.
