Founded in 1911, The Monticello Golf Club is one of the oldest existing golf clubs in Eastern Iowa. Architect Bill Hall Sr. AKA "Black Bill". The infamous swale"y" on number 9 will get you almost 50% of the time. Memorial tournament for Bill Hall Sr. is usually the first weekend in July right around Independence day every year.
While steeped in rich history going back over a century, the Monticello Golf Club also boasts the newest state of the art clubhouse featuring a sunken bar, multiple flat screen TV’s, fireplace, indoor and outdoor dining facilities and wireless internet.
