Cedar Pointe Golf Course is a beautiful 18-hole championship golf course tucked right in the heart of Boone, Iowa. The course offers two distinct and uniquely challenging nines. The front nine dates back almost 100 years and is short, tight, and caters to the accurate player versus the long ball hitter. With aged trees lining almost every hole, hitting fairways is at a premium when trying to score well on the first nine holes. The back nine is much more open and forgiving, however, much more trouble lurks on the inward nine if you’re not careful. Out-of-bounds lines every single hole, water hazards come into play on six of the nine closing holes, and Hole #11 is the only hole without one of the 19 Back-9 bunkers. The closing hole is a great risk/reward par 5 that can either leave you scratching your head, or celebrating your come-from-behind victory against your friends.
