Currahee Club has been recognized as one of The Rolex World’s Top 1,000 golf courses. Of the estimated 15,500 golf courses in the United States and 32,000 courses in the world, only 333 in the United States earned a place in the Rolex Top 1,000. Currahee Club is one of only 16 golf courses in Georgia to make the list, sharing that distinction with such venerable Peach State layouts as Augusta National, East Lake, Peachtree Golf Club, and the Atlanta Athletic Club – Highlands Course. Only California, Florida, and New York had more courses than Georgia on the Top 1,000 list from the U.S.
