Timuquana Country Club, established in 1923, is one of Florida’s premier country clubs and among the oldest in Jacksonville. The club’s 290 acres are nestled on the western edge of the St. Johns River. The club’s location on the river gives it a “million dollar view” of the St. Johns and the Jacksonville skyline.
The club offers members a full array of year-round activities. Its famed Donald Ross 18-hole golf course has hosted numerous USGA events and is the course where PGA Tour golfer David Duval learned the game. There is a thriving league-play tennis program, a family pool area, a fitness center, fine dining, several casual dining options and a full array of annual social events and traditions. The club also hosts private events, weddings and meetings on behalf of its members.
Timuquana is a private club open only to members and their guests. Potential new members must be sponsored by two current members and seconded by three additional members through written endorsements. Prospective members are then subject to approval by the Board of Governors and members.
