About Kelly Greens Golf & Country Club:

Kelly Greens was founded in 1987 and golf course construction began in October the same year. The course was opened for one day on December 20, 1988 when golfing icon Sam Snead played the honorary first round. A key element of a multi-million dollar renovation, which occurred in 1999, was to ensure that all greens were built to USGA specifications. Kelly Greens clubhouse opened July 19, 1988 but before that, Kelly Greens first residents, Steve and Linda Sherman, moved into their new home on Kelly Palm Drive on December 23, 1987.
Kelly Greens maintains a relaxed and informal atmosphere year-round. The close proximity to Sanibel Island and Fort Myers Beach combined with the easy access to surrounding communities, makes Kelly Greens the most favorable location in southwest Florida.
K G Golf Course and its lakes present natural beauty for the enjoyment of all. The entire community is attractively landscaped with various species of mature palms, oaks and other trees indigenous to the region. Augmented with perennials, annuals and other plantings, our community is a very attractive place to live and play.
K G’s large population of water, wading and other species of birds is an interesting attraction. Osprey and Bald Eagles are regular visitors. Other species that adopt our lakes are Wood Storks, Great Blue Herons Egrets, White Pelicans, Anhinga and Cormorants. And don’t overlook the "friendly" gators that frequently are observed sunning along the shores of our golf course.
Kelly Greens is a private gated community providing an 18 hole championship golf course, professional golf shop and private restaurant.
The 18 hole Champion golf course provides challenging game play in a majestic setting with various species of birds and plant life.
The members of Kelly Greens also enjoy a variety of recreational and social amenities including tennis courts, swimming pool, center for activities and exercise facility.
The private restaurant at Kelly Greens offers an upscale dining experience to its members. Consisting of full bar, The Grille Room and full dining room, The Kelly Greens Restaurant can also provide an excellent setting for your banquet, wedding or other special dining event.

In addition to golf and dining, activities and events are available to residents. There are several programs designed to provide opportunities for involvement of all interested residents.
Clubs and Activities: Garden Club, Bridge (Afternoon, Member, Duplicate, Ladies), Pinochle, Hand and Foot Card Game, Texas Hold’em Poker Tournaments, Fantasy Football Leagues, Mah Jung, Water Aerobics, Yoga, Painting Class, "Kae Gee" Needlework Club, Trivia Nights, Chef’s Cooking Classes.
A recently renovated Fitness Center with up-to-date equipment provides modern, multi-level fitness opportunities adaptable to individual requirements and enjoyment.
