Westport Longshore Golf Club, is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Westport, Connecticut.
Longshore golf course opened first opened for play in 1922. The original Longshore golf course was built in the 1920's and was designed by Orin Edward Smith.
Lined with maple trees and overlooking the Long Island Sound, Longshore Club Park Golf Course is a short 18-hole course with beautiful, well-manicured fairways. Golfers find a fair amount of challenge at Longshore on the small, well-bunkered greens. The course plays to 5,845 yards from the back tees for a par of 73. The course rating is 69 and the slope rating is 115.
The course is operated by the Town of Westport and open to Westport residents and their guests. In 2007, the Town of Westport completed a $2.3 million remodeling of the golf course. The new course was designed by golf course architect, A. John Harvey.
