Nestled next to Talcott Mountain and the Heublein Tower the 18-hole course at Tower Ridge Country Club in Simsbury, Connecticut is one of the most picturesque golf courses. Featuring 6,416 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70, water comes into play on 5 of the 18 holes making a challenging course for beginners and professional golfers alike. The course rating is 71.5 and it has a slope rating of 130. Designed by Geoffrey S. Cornish, ASGCA, the Tower Ridge golf course opened in 1959 as a private club. Today, Tower Ridge still has many members but is also open for public daily fee play.
