The “Biggest Little Country Club in the North State” is perched on a scenic bend where the Sacramento River flows through Redding on its long journey to San Francisco Bay. River Bend Golf & Country Club has been delighting local golfers and travelers since 1991 with a consistently entertaining course featuring smooth and fast bentgrass greens and boatload of other amenities. The course’s 9 holes and 2,148 yards (blue tees) play easily to 18 and 4104 yards at par 64. Afterwards enjoy sumptuous lunch feasts that feature pretty lagoon views and house specialties such as the River Bend cheeseburger, chicken walnut salad, reuben sandwich, grilled chicken wrap and homemade clam chowder.
