Whispering Lakes Golf Course originally opened in 1960 on Riverside Drive between Vineyard and Archibald Avenues. Over the years the course had lost a little of it's luster. But as reported in the Daily Bulletin -- the course is back!
The course never shut down while staff members worked from a temporary trailer overseeing $1 million in improvements -- including a new clubhouse, golf carts, renovated landscape and new equipment.
