About The Preserve Golf Club:

The Clubhouse and Golf Course were unobtrusively laid into the Preserve’s natural landscape to highlight every possible view and vista. The Clubhouse is a cluster of Spanish buildings that sit on a low knoll with broad views over the 1st tee and 18th green. The buildings and interiors are exemplary of Monterey’s architectural history evoking the sense and feel of 1830’s architecture. The design goal of the Course was to emulate a walk during which you would experience as much of the Preserve’s nature as possible. The Course wanders by towering oaks, through rolling savannahs, around wetlands and across seasonal streams with a backdrop of the Santa Lucia Range. It never trumpets its presence; it whispers through the landscape.
