There are five sets of tees at Rio Rico, from the tips at almost 7200 yards to the new forward tees at just over 5000 yards the course sets up well to accommodate all levels of skill and length. Greens are bent grass and are some of the best in Southern Arizona. The infamous design style of Jones includes greenside bunkers and green contours that can create some difficult but accessible pin placements, put your approach in the right place and score well, be aggressive and miss the shot, you will pay the penalty.
