Glenwood Country Club, established in 1994 and designed by Bobby McGee, remains one of the top golf courses in Arkansas. After a change in ownership and massive renovation in the fall of 2010, the course has been restored to its original classic design with new Bent grass greens and Bermuda fairways. The course looks amazing, plays better than it ever has, and is conviently located just 30 miles outside of Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Known as “A Great Course with Great People,” from Golf Digest, the course offers a challenging 18 hole, Par 72 layout, carved from the surrounding scenic woodlands. The course gently rolls and undulates in and out of the native hardwood and pine forests, with the occasional tee shot blasting out of a narrow shoot. The Bermuda fairways are often severely sloped, which demands accuracy off the tee and spin control. The course plays to a relatively innocuous 6,561 yards from the back golf tees and carries a rating of 71.7
